NU's Slew of Bonus-Point Wins Spells 28-15 Victory Over SIU-E
Wildcats set to meet Indiana at 2 p.m. Sunday in Welsh-Ryan Arena

EVANSTON, Ill. -- In its final nonconference dual match of the season, Northwestern captured seven of eight contested bouts to knock off Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, 28-15. The Wildcats, who scored bonus points in the first six matches of the night, improved to 5-6-1 entering its test Sunday against No. 11 Indiana.
Northwestern forfeited six points each at 125 and 141 pounds, leaving Eric Metzler's 7-3 decision over Brendan Murphy at 133 pounds as the final match of the night. Metzler put himself in control with a reversal in the second period and never allowed a takedown to Murphy, one of SIU-Edwardsville's strongest competitors entering the night.
