Levi Mele (Vernal, Utah/Uintah) won back-to-back Big Ten dual matches on the final weekend of the regular season, beginning with an 8-4 decision of Wisconsin’s Drew Hammen Friday. On Sunday, Mele selflessly moved up two weight classes to 141 pounds to help NU secure a 20-16 victory over Michigan. Trailing 5-3, Mele notched a takedown with less than 30 seconds remaining before getting the winning takedown early in the sudden victory period.
